The Role
We are recruiting for a Live-In Care Professional to support a client within their own home on a long-term basis. The client is living with Dementia and is partially sighted, which means this role requires a high level of patience, understanding, and attentive, person-centred care. You will be working closely not only with the client, but also alongside their partner, who is actively involved in their care.
Responsibilities:

This role requires someone who is calm, observant, adaptable, and confident supporting clients with complex needs, while building a trusting relationship within the home.
Working Pattern & Flexibility:
- 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rota
- You will reside in the client’s home during your working period
- Carers are typically entitled to a 2-hour daily break. However, due to the nature of the client’s needs, this role requires flexibility:
- Some days may require increased support with shorter breaks
- Other days will offer extended rest periods to balance this
- We ensure carers receive appropriate rest overall, but the day-to-day structure may vary, so flexibility and understanding are essential.
What We’re Looking For:
- Reliable, committed, and able to work independently
- Compassionate and genuinely motivated to support others
- Calm, patient, and confident supporting clients living with dementia
- Respectful, open-minded, and comfortable working in a shared home environment
- Adaptable and able to manage changing routines
- Emotionally resilient and professional
Additional requirements:
- Experience supporting clients living with Dementia (essential)
- Experience supporting individuals who are visually impaired (desirable)
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
- Non-smoker
Pay & Benefits:
- £927 per week (live-in rate)
- £50 per week food allowance
- Paid, stable rota (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off)
- Ongoing support from a dedicated office team
- Training and development opportunities
- Supportive, professional working environment
Our Recruitment Process:
Due to the nature of this placement, our recruitment process is more personalised:
- Initial interview with our office team
- Second-stage interview with the client’s partner
- The final decision will involve the client’s partner, as it is important the successful candidate is the right fit for the household.
