Start your day by making a difference

Are you an early riser looking for a rewarding part-time role?

Join our Early Bird team as a Care Assistant and help people start their morning with confidence, comfort and independence.

At Radfield Home Care Wakefield & Huddersfield, we’re a family-run business providing personalised care in our clients’ own homes. From helping someone get ready for the day to preparing breakfast and sharing a friendly conversation, your support can make a real difference.

Your working hours

You’ll work 07:00–11:30 on every working day, following a repeating two-week rota:

Week 1

  • Working: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

  • Days off: Saturday and Sunday.

Week 2

  • Working: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.

  • Days off: Thursday and Friday.

This gives you five morning shifts each week, with alternate weekends, and a clear routine to plan around.

What you’ll be doing

As a Care Assistant, you’ll provide home care tailored to each client’s morning routine. This may include:

  • Supporting with washing, dressing and personal care.

  • Preparing breakfast and drinks.

  • Supporting with medication in line with the care plan and your training.

  • Helping with everyday tasks around the home.

  • Providing companionship, encouragement and reassurance.

You’ll encourage clients to remain independent, offering support where they need it and respecting their choices.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for kind, reliable people who treat others with dignity and respect.

Care experience is welcome, and we provide paid training and shadowing to help you feel confident in your role. Drivers are preferred, as the role involves travelling between clients’ homes.

You must be available for 07:00–11:30 shifts and the full two-week rota, including alternate weekends.
