Join us on our mission. Radfield Home Care specialises in providing personalised, private care for older people in their own home. Our mission is to make ageing a more enjoyable and rewarding experience for all involved, and our Deputy Care Managers have a huge role to play in making it happen.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join Radfield Home Care Chingford & Loughton as a Deputy Care Manager to further develop a career in care management. You’ll be responsible for supporting the Registered Care Manager with the daily operations of our premium home care service, such as managing care needs with clients and their families, supporting a team of care professionals, setting and managing rotas, and keeping essential records up-to-date.

You’re someone who loves working with people, organisation, and getting things done. You’ll need a UK driver’s licence, be over the age of 18, and have access to a vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out assessments for new clients and devising person-centred care plans
  • Regular compliance audits
  • Handling incoming queries from clients and care professionals
  • Creating efficient staff rotas and participating in the on-call rota
  • Assisting with recruitment, interviews & onboarding
  • Coordination & delivery of staff in-person training and e-learning
  • Supporting with staff appraisals and supervisions
Qualifications / Required Skills & Experience:
  • Level 5 Health & Social Care or be willing to work towards this
  • At least 2 years experience within the home care sector
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to be flexible around core hours to meet the needs of the client and the team
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
