Job Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Professional to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will be committed to promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for those they assist.
- Must be able to drive and have own vehicle
- Must be over 18
- Must not require a sponsorship
- Able to work between 7am-11am
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The role requires contact with vulnerable clients and will be subject to enhanced DBS disclosure and satisfactory references.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, medication management and light housekeeping.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring safe transportation.
- Keep accurate records of services provided and report any changes in client condition or needs.
- Ensure the home environment is clean, safe, and conducive to the client's well-being.
- Utilise IT systems for scheduling and reporting purposes, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
