A truly exciting opportunity for a dynamic, entrepreneurial individual to drive a new branded product range for a globally successful FMCG business who have wider aspirations in the UK. The business is incredibly successful internationally and can boast a market leading position overseas in mature markets. Following a host of acquisitions globally, including the UK, they have built on this in recent years with commercial wins across own brand, and more recently a branded proposition.
Following successful launches in supermarkets, this new position will be responsible for the continued growth of their branded proposition into a variety of wholesale channels, with an initial focus on London, with a view to expanding beyond this. This would be a great opportunity for someone who has a track record of launching a brand into a new market. The nature of the role will be very cross functional, so someone that has a good understanding of brand activation and associated marketing activities as well as core sales/customer development would be an advantage.
Essentially, we are looking for someone that can bring a start up, dynamic, builder type of profile to the business, but with the confidence, infrastructure and backing of an established global business.
Responsibilities- To create and establish commercial relationships, building the brand and delivering the volume, margin, profit and distribution objectives.
- Build brand distribution outside of core retail, shaping the growth of the brand in the UK market.
- Build upon existing distribution relationships moving towards a brand building approach as opposed to the current order fulfilment basis.
- Use learnings from brand launches overseas to replicate and adapt in the UK market.
- Build relationships with wholesale partners whilst also driving strategic direct relationships with current and potential end customers.
- Driving new business (initially primarily outbound).
- Drive relationships across wholesalers, independent retail, consumer trade markets and foodservice.
- Develop multi channel strategy for the brand, initially in London and beyond.
- Management of CRM Sales tool to track current and potential customers.
Please note: The role is a fully remote role, but due to the business plan, you will need to be based in or around London and hold a full UK driving licence.
