The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 £ per year.
Due to continued business growth, this is a newly created Head of Technical Account Management role and essentially acts as the interface between the business and the major retailers. You will look after a mid sized team of Technical Account Managers, build strong relationships with customers (including managing 1 retailer account directly), and be the point of escalation for any issues. Ultimately, this is a hands on, but strategic, role ensuring that the product supplied is of the best quality, in line with the company vision and complying with customer requirements.
This is a very interesting role that essentially sits at the intersection of Technical, Commercial and Supply Chain where you will get exposure to lots of different stakeholders both internally and externally. - Develop strong working relationships with customers and internally, with commercial counterparts.
- Facilitate retail customer visits to growers/packhouses.
- Oversee preparation of management reports for internal leadership, suppliers and customers.
- Be a lead in food safety, social and environmental - working with commercial and marketing around crisis management plans and customer communications.
- Working with teams to reduce quality complaints, driving a consistent culture of quality.
- Continuous improvement initiatives, looking at KPIs and data to drive decision making.
Senior leadership experience as a Head of Technical Accounts or Senior Technical Account Manager within a relevant industry - (fruit preferred but wider food industry considered). Experience of people management. Pragmatic approach, identifying risks and solution focussed course of action. Strong food safety and product integrity knowledge. A commercial mindset, with an understanding of how Technical, Commercial and Supply Chain works.
