This is a great opportunity to join a leading FMCG company as a Shift Engineer, being responsible for reactive and pro-active maintenance as part of a shift team in a mid-sized team of engineers. Please note that the role works a mix of day and night shifts (full shift pattern available upon request).
The opportunity is one that could be a strong accelerator for your career, with progression routes available within the role as a more senior technical specialist or through more traditional supervisory/management routes. The business has a track record of promoting Engineering professionals through the ranks and many of the current Senior Leadership team started as engineers.
The environment is busy and fast-paced so it will suit someone that can really focus on having that pro-active and reliability-focused attitude as well as being able to fix reactive breakdowns where necessary.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Electrical/Mechanical qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3.
- Electrically qualified (18th edition, City and Guilds 236/2360 etc or equivalent).
- Worked in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (food/drink/pharmaceutical, packaging, plastics, warehouse automation etc).
