Overview

Key Account Manager – Unlicensed Medicines. Remote (UK-based) with field-based travel. Competitive package.

Are you ready to play a key role in shaping the future of one of the fastest-growing Pharmaceutical businesses in the industry?

This is not your typical Key Account Manager role. It’s an opportunity to join a business that has already transformed its corner of the pharmaceutical world and is now looking for someone with drive, imagination, and commercial acumen to help propel it even further.

About the Company

Our client has carved out a unique position in the market. Known for supplying an extensive portfolio of unlicensed medicines both domestically into the NHS and private hospitals, as well as exporting a large range of Pharmaceutical products globally – they have built a reputation for agility, reliability, and excellence.

Behind the scenes, they’ve also been quietly assembling a team of some of the brightest minds in the sector – ambitious, collaborative people who share a passion for growth and innovation. Now, they’re looking for the right person to take ownership of their customer relationships and spearhead the next phase of expansion in terms of domestic supply of Unlicensed Medicines to the NHS and private hospitals across the UK.

The Opportunity

This role goes beyond maintaining accounts. You’ll be:

  • Shaping growth by working directly with NHS Trusts and Private Hospitals to deepen relationships, identify new opportunities, and introduce solutions that make a real impact.
  • Building on success by taking an already strong foundation and pushing it further, bringing your creativity and energy to unlock new levels of performance.
  • Owning your territory through operating with autonomy in a remote role, while spending time out in the field where it matters most: in front of customers.

You won’t be a small cog in a big wheel here. You’ll be a central part of a lean, high-performing commercial team and the leadership will give you the backing and freedom to make your mark.

Who this role is for

  • Must have experience in sales or account management within Unlicensed Medicines, Specials or a similar product category.
  • Confident building and nurturing relationships with senior stakeholders across the NHS and private healthcare providers.
  • Commercially sharp, innovative, and hungry to drive business forward.
  • Motivated by the chance to have real ownership and influence in a fast-growing organisation.

Why This Role?

If you’ve ever wanted to join a company at the perfect moment – established enough to be credible and secure, but dynamic enough to still be scaling rapidly… this is it!

You’ll be joining a business where your ideas won’t just be heard; they’ll shape the company’s future. You’ll have the chance to make a visible impact, with all the energy, challenge, and reward that comes with helping to build something exceptional.

If you’re excited by the idea of working in a high-growth, forward-thinking environment where your contribution will matter, we’d love to hear from you.
