This is a newly created role to support the continued development of a growing Technical department of a leading food manufacturing company. Reporting into a dynamic and progressive Technical Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your Technical compliance and quality systems knowledge in a business that can offer realistic progression opportunities. Ultimately, this role looks after Technical compliance to food safety, legal requirements and quality standards by ensuring successful management of specifications and suppliers, and supporting internal compliance processes. Maintaining and improving Food Safety and Quality standards and the requirements of any accreditation (BRCGS), legislative and customer requirements. Work in compliance with the company quality policy and supporting the HSE, food safety and quality culture. Work in line with the policies and practices within the QMS. Champion a culture of food safety and quality throughout the business. End to end management of customer complaints, including recording, facilitating investigation, closure and trending. Take a lead role in solving quality issues, continuous improvement programmes and other quality/food safety projects. A minimum of 3 years\’ experience in Food/Drink Manufacturing, Fresh Produce or a related industry. Minimum of HACCP Level 2. Awareness of food safety regulations, BRCGS requirements and best practices. Competitive salary with regular reviews and good overall benefits.
