An excellent opportunity has become available for a hands-on Senior Property Manager to join a fast-moving, people-focused business with a multi-site estate, alongside a private residential and commercial portfolio.
This is a site-facing, practical property role - ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the estate, diagnosing issues, managing contractors and delivering sensible, cost-effective solutions in live trading environments.
The RoleYou’ll take ownership of day-to-day repairs, maintenance, refurbishments and small project works across the business operations, working closely with contractors, operations teams, Health & Safety, Finance and the Estates Surveyor.
You’ll also play an important role in improving visibility of OPEX spend through the helpdesk system and ensuring the estate remains safe, compliant, well maintained and operationally effective. This role suits someone who balances common sense with compliance, and enjoys solving problems rather than escalating them.
Key Responsibilities- Managing repairs and maintenance issues across a multi-site estate
- Visiting sites to diagnose building issues and oversee works
- Supporting refurbishments, refits and layout improvements
- Delivering small projects with minimal disruption to trading
- Managing contractors, negotiating quotes and ensuring value for money
- Supporting helpdesk workflows, reporting and OPEX tracking
- Producing clear site reports with risks, recommendations and costs
- Taking a pragmatic, risk-based approach to safety and compliance
- Supporting refurbishment and works within the private portfolio
You’ll have experience in multi-site property, facilities, maintenance or small project delivery, ideally within a fast-paced operational estate such as retail, healthcare or hospitality.
