I’m currently partnering with a large, established and market-leading organisation with a strong UK footprint, as they look to appoint a Control Systems Engineer into their growing C&I function.

The role has been created with a clear goal: to help elevate and professionalise controls and engineering standards across the business. Alongside this, you’ll be involved in a broad mix of activities – from design and development through to commissioning, maintenance and continuous improvement.
Designing and programming PLC/SCADA systems from first principles

Producing high-quality engineering documentation (URS, FDS, control philosophies, cause & effect, etc.)

Working closely with wider engineering and project teams on instrumentation and control strategy
*
Driving improvements in engineering standards, processes and documentation across the business
*
Coaching and supporting maintenance teams to improve fault-finding capability
Strong technical capability across PLC/SCADA systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
