The Opportunity
Radar Healthcare\\\’s new Junior Editor
Radar Healthcare is looking for a Junior Editor to work on the EIDO healthcare product. We create and maintain high-quality patient information resources, ensuring that patients receive clear, accurate and accessible content to support informed consent.
This role is an opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills to develop their editorial career in a supportive environment. The Junior Editor will play a central role in managing the content update process, ensuring documents are reviewed, updated, and published on time.
You will work closely with senior editors, reviewers, and other stakeholders, gaining hands-on experience while receiving training to develop into an in-house editor
What you’ll be doing to make a difference
- Provide project management support to the editorial team
- Assist with proofreading and editing content under supervision
- Contribute to the smooth running of the content production workflow
- Support senior editors in handling workload during peak periods
- Participate in quarterly in-person team meetings
- Collate documents for review
- Distribute content to reviewers and chase responses
- Collate and organise feedback for senior editors
- Monitor project timelines and ensure deadlines are met
Your journey so far
- Experience in editing, proofreading, or content production
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Excellent written English with a sharp eye for detail
- Confident communicator, able to manage reviewer relationships professionally
- Comfortable working independently in a remote team environment
- Eager to learn and develop editorial skills in a healthcare publishing context
