Job purpose

First Contact Health is seeking an experienced MRI radiographer to join a small, friendly radiology department. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering high-quality patient care. The department is part of a clinic with 10 other clinical staff providing MSK care, focusing mainly on MSK imaging and preventative medicine. You will also perform scans requested by external clinicians such as general practitioners.

There is no overnight on-call requirement.

First Contact Health plans to open over 100 clinics across the UK, utilizing a tailored joint venture model with state-of-the-art equipment, making these clinics a preferred practice location for radiographers and MSK clinicians.

Additional opportunity

Established radiographers may have the chance to become joint venture partners in our Guernsey clinic, gaining a share of profits and working closely with existing medical partners.

The role

This role involves performing MRI scans, operating advanced MRI equipment, vetting referrals, obtaining patient consent, monitoring patient care, and collaborating with the team to ensure excellent service. You will manage daily operations of the imaging suite.

Equipment includes a new 1.5T Philips Ingenia S Blue seal MRI scanner, an Esaote O scanner, and a Planmed Verity extremity Cone Beam CT scanner.
