We are looking for a Night Porter to join our team at Seamill House Hotel. This is a varied, hands-on night shift role supporting overnight hotel operations, providing excellent guest service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel.
The role will include cleaning public areas, preparing the hotel for the following day's business, assisting guests, and carrying out general portering duties. Weekend working will be required as part of the role.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Carrying out overnight cleaning of public areas, guest facilities, and other designated areas to company standards.
- Ensuring the hotel is presented to a high standard for guests arriving the following day.
- Responding to guest requests promptly and professionally throughout the night.
- Assisting with late check-ins and early departures where required.
- Setting up function and public areas for the following day's business.
- Carrying out regular checks of the hotel to ensure guest safety and security.
- Reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, or security concerns to the appropriate manager.
- Supporting with general portering duties, including luggage assistance and deliveries.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a similar cleaning, porter, or hospitality role is desirable but not essential.
- A reliable, hardworking individual with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and use initiative.
- A friendly and professional approach to guest service.
- Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends.
