We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef or a strong Junior Sous Chef ready to take the next step in their career to join the culinary team at Lochgreen House Hotel & Spa.

Working alongside an experienced Head Chef, you'll play a key role in delivering refined, seasonal dishes that showcase the very best of Scotland's exceptional local produce.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen and food preparation.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, consistency, and hygiene.
- Help lead, train, and inspire the kitchen brigade, taking responsibility in the Head Chef's absence.
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and maintaining an efficient, well‑organised kitchen.
- Contribute to the development of seasonal menus, showcasing modern Scottish cuisine with a focus on quality ingredients and Rosette-standard presentation.
- Ensure exceptional standards are maintained across restaurant service, private dining, weddings, and events.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or a strong Junior Sous Chef within a quality hotel or restaurant.
- Experience working in a Rosette-standard kitchen is essential.
- A genuine passion for producing high‑quality food using the finest seasonal Scottish ingredients.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a busy kitchen team.
- Experience with procurement systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
