We’re seeking a hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house team at the Afton Restaurant within Lochside House Hotel, ensuring a high-quality dining experience and exceptional guest service. Lochside House Hotel is part of the award-winning, family-owned RAD Hotel Group. As a member of our team, you will contribute to delivering exceptional service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. You will have the chance to develop your skills in customer service, teamwork, and food and beverage service, all while working in a beautiful setting. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house team to deliver excellent guest experiences.
  • Manage daily restaurant operations, including reservations and table flow.
  • Recruit, schedule, and develop team members to maintain performance and morale.
  • Monitor financial performance, including labour costs, sales targets, and stock control.
  • Drive revenue through effective upselling and guest engagement.
  • Work closely with the kitchen and events teams to ensure smooth service.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and presentation.
  • Handle guest feedback professionally and positively.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, or Duty Manager in a hotel or restaurant setting.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment is beneficial.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • A passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
  • Organised, proactive, and confident under pressure.
  • Positive, professional, and team-focused.
  • A full, valid driving licence is preferred.
