We're looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team at Seamill Hydro Hotel.

This is a full-time, hands-on role working 5 days over 7, including weekends.

As Maintenance Manager, you'll be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel's facilities, grounds and equipment.

You'll play a key role in maintaining our high standards, ensuring everything is safe, functional and well-presented for both our guests and team.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Overseeing all maintenance operations, including planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and general property upkeep.
  • Leading, managing and supporting the maintenance team, creating a positive and productive working environment.
  • Carrying out pool plant testing to maintain water quality and safety standards.
  • Ensuring all hotel facilities are safe, clean, well-maintained and fully operational.
  • Overseeing the maintenance and presentation of the hotel's grounds and gardens.
  • Working closely with other departments to support the smooth running of the hotel and an excellent guest experience.
  • Supporting the RAD Project Management team with renovations, developments and other projects within the hotel where required.
  • Identifying potential maintenance issues and taking a proactive approach to resolving them before they impact hotel operations.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a maintenance role, ideally within hospitality, hotels or a similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of general trades, with joinery, electrical and plumbing experience highly beneficial.
  • Experience in pool plant testing.
  • Previous experience leading or supervising a maintenance team.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • A commitment to high standards and delivering an excellent guest experience.
