As a Kitchen Porter, you'll support the kitchen team by maintaining cleanliness and organisation, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain experience and take on more responsibility in a fast-paced kitchen.
Part of the award-winning, family-owned RAD Hotel Group, Radstone Hotel is a stylish hotel and events venue in the heart of Larkhall. We are passionate about providing our guests with unforgettable experiences and are looking for an enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our established team.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Cleaning crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment.
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and hygienic.
- Assisting with basic food preparation as directed by the Head Chef.
- Supporting the kitchen team with various tasks as needed.
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, tidy and safe throughout service.
- Assisting with waste management and maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene.
- Supporting the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous kitchen experience is a plus, but not essential.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- A great team player with a willingness to learn and develop.
- Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
