We are seeking a passionate and skilled Breakfast Chef to join our dedicated kitchen team, helping us provide guests with a memorable start to the day. Shifts will typically run from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with the potential for additional hours extending into lunchtime, depending on the needs of the business. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and serving all breakfast dishes to the highest standards, as well as assisting with lunch and dinner prep and supporting the lunch shift. This is a key role within the kitchen, ensuring a smooth transition from breakfast service to the afternoon.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Prepare and cook both traditional Scottish and continental breakfast items.
- Manage the breakfast service, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of all food.
- Carry out essential prep work for the lunch menu.
- Work as part of the team to run the lunch service, preparing and plating dishes to order.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, strictly following all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and the rest of the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory management.

- Proven experience in a similar hotel or restaurant environment.
- A passion for food and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety procedures.
- The ability to work independently and as a valuable part of a team.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Reliable and flexible, with the ability to work early mornings, including weekends and public holidays.
