This is a fully site-based, hands‑on role, ideal for an experienced tradesperson who has progressed into a foreman or supervisory position but still enjoys being actively involved on site.
RAD Hotel Group operates 10 hotels, primarily across Ayrshire, with projects ranging from bedroom refurbishments and upgrades to the construction and renovation of restaurants, bars, cafés, function spaces, leisure facilities, bedrooms, lodges and other hotel amenities.
Our current project is based at Seamill Hydro Hotel, although the successful candidate will work across different RAD Hotel Group properties as required.
Working closely with the owners and RAD Project Management team, you’ll take responsibility for the smooth day‑to‑day running of the site, coordinating trades and subcontractors, maintaining high standards of workmanship and ensuring projects progress safely and efficiently.

- Overseeing the day‑to‑day work and activities on site.
- Coordinating tradespeople, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Planning and communicating daily work priorities.
- Monitoring progress against the project programme and raising any issues promptly.
- Checking the quality of workmanship and ensuring any defects are addressed.
- Organising materials, deliveries and other site requirements.
- Identifying and resolving practical issues on site.
- Maintaining a safe, tidy and well‑organised working environment.
- Ensuring work is completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and agreed standards.
- Providing regular progress updates to the owners and RAD Project Management team.
- Working considerately within live hotel environments, minimising disruption to guests and hotel operations.
- Remaining hands‑on and assisting with practical construction and trade work when required.
What We’re Looking For
- A strong background in a recognised construction trade.
- Previous experience in a Foreman, Site Supervisor or similar site‑based supervisory role.
- Experience coordinating multiple trades, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Good practical knowledge of construction, refurbishment and fit‑out work.
- The confidence and ability to lead people and maintain high standards on site.
- The ability to read and work from drawings and specifications.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills.
- A proactive, practical and flexible approach.
- A strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Experience working on hotel, hospitality or other live‑environment projects would be advantageous.
- A relevant CSCS card and site supervision qualification would be desirable.
- A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel between RAD Hotel Group sites is essential.
What We'll Offer You
- Permanent position within a growing and ambitious business.
- Varied programme of construction, refurbishment and renovation projects.
- Opportunity to work across distinctive hotels and hospitality facilities.
- A hands‑on role with genuine day‑to‑day responsibility.
- Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
- Career progression opportunities.
