Function Supervisor
Lochside House Hotel
30–40 Hours Per Week
We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Function Supervisor to join the team at Lochside House Hotel. Reporting directly to the Banqueting Manager, you will help oversee the delivery of weddings, events and private functions, leading the team on shift and ensuring every guest receives an exceptional experience.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Supervising the function team during weddings, events and private functions, ensuring service runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Leading by example and supporting the team to deliver excellent food and beverage service.
- Welcoming and looking after guests, ensuring a friendly and professional experience throughout their visit.
- Coordinating table plans, service requirements and event set-ups.
- Monitoring presentation and service standards throughout functions.
- Supporting the Banqueting Manager with team organisation, training and day-to-day operations.
- Helping resolve guest queries and ensuring any issues are dealt with promptly and professionally.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous hospitality or function experience, ideally in a supervisory role.
- Good leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
- A positive, hands‑on approach and willingness to lead by example.
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards of presentation.
- Ability to remain organised and work well under pressure.
- Reliable, enthusiastic and committed to delivering excellent guest service.
