We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Bar Manager to join the team at The Royal Sports Bar. Reporting directly to the Bar Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the bar, ensuring exceptional customer service, supporting and motivating the team, and helping to deliver a high-quality guest experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Support the Bar Manager in the daily operation and management of the bar.
  • Lead by example, delivering outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Assist with staff supervision, training, and development to ensure high service standards are maintained.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and help manage inventory controls.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, food safety regulations, and responsible alcohol service practices.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organization throughout the bar.
  • Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
  • Assist with cash handling, end-of-shift procedures, and operational reporting as required.
  • Support the management team in driving sales and achieving business objectives.

What We're Looking For:

  • Must be 18 years old or older due to licensing laws.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience within a busy bar environment is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of bar operations and customer service standards.
