Area Support Manager

RAD Hotel Group is looking for an experienced, hands-on Area Support Manager to help drive standards, strengthen performance and develop our management teams across our 10 hotels.
This is a varied role for someone who loves being in the operation, leading from the front and making a real difference. Working closely with our Director of Operations, you'll support and challenge our hotel management teams, help resolve operational issues and ensure our hotels consistently deliver the standards expected across the business.
You'll also step in to lead a hotel when required, providing hands-on operational leadership during periods of management vacancy.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Visiting our 10 hotels to audit standards, identify areas for improvement and ensure agreed improvements are implemented.
- Working closely with General Managers and Operations Managers to strengthen performance, develop their teams and maintain accountability.
- Getting hands-on across all departments, supporting teams and demonstrating best practice.
- Troubleshooting operational issues, identifying root causes and working with hotel teams to put practical solutions in place.
- Stepping in to manage a hotel when required, taking responsibility for the operation until a permanent manager is appointed and established in the role.
- Developing managers and building high-performing teams that consistently deliver the standards expected across RAD.
- Identifying opportunities to improve guest experience, operational efficiency and commercial performance.
- Working closely with the Director of Operations to drive consistency and deliver Group objectives.
- Getting involved wherever needed. You'll be someone who leads from the front and isn't afraid to roll your sleeves up.
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for ahands-on hotel operator who knows what great hospitality looks like and can influence others to deliver it.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience as a General Manager, Operations Manager, Hotel Manager or in a senior hotel operations role.
- Strong experience overseeing multiple hotel departments and leading teams.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to influence, develop and hold managers accountable.
- A track record of building high-performing teams and improving operational standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on consistency.
- The confidence to challenge when standards aren't being met and the ability to turn issues into improvements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach.
- A good understanding of hotel operations, guest experience and commercial performance.
- The flexibility to travel regularly across all RAD Hotel Group sites.
