We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Conference & Banqueting Manager to join the team at Radstone Hotel.

In this hands-on role, you will lead the Conference & Banqueting team in delivering exceptional weddings, conferences, private functions and events, ensuring every occasion runs smoothly and exceeds guest expectations.

Part of the award-winning, family-owned RAD Hotel Group, Radstone Hotel is a renowned destination wedding and events venue with stunning views over the Lanarkshire countryside.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and manage the Conference & Banqueting team to deliver exceptional weddings, conferences, private functions and events.
  • Oversee the smooth running of events from set-up through to completion, ensuring the highest standards of service.
  • Work closely with the wider hotel team to understand and deliver guest requirements.
  • Lead by example, providing hands‑on support during busy events and ensuring the team maintains a professional and welcoming approach.
  • Recruit, train, coach and develop team members to support high standards of performance and service.
  • Ensure function rooms, bars and event spaces are prepared and presented to the required standard.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and deal with queries or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Support with event planning and ensure all operational details are communicated effectively to the relevant departments.
  • Help maximise revenue through effective upselling and ensuring all agreed event requirements are delivered.
  • Maintain a positive, professional and collaborative working environment within the team.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a Conference & Banqueting, Events or Hospitality Management role.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • A positive, proactive and professional approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to remain calm and organised in a fast‑paced environment.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional events and memorable guest experiences.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and events.
