Join our team at Tales Restaurant, at Brig o’ Doon House Hotel, an iconic venue and popular dining destination. We’re looking for enthusiastic Bar and Restaurant Staff to help deliver exceptional guest experiences. As part of our service team, you’ll greet and seat guests, serve food and drinks, up-sell where appropriate, clear and reset tables, and occasionally assist with functions. You’ll play a key role in ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable experience. Part of the award‑winning, family‑owned RAD Hotel Group, Brig o’ Doon House Hotel is known for weddings, events, and fine hospitality. What you'll be doing?
- Serving food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner
- Processing payments and handling transactions
- Providing a warm, welcoming and attentive experience to all guests
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant, ensuring that tables and dining areas are clean and presentable
- Engaging with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders and offering recommendations when needed
- Upholding food safety standards and adhering to hygiene regulations during food service
- Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
