We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at the Brig o' Doon House Hotel. This role involves supporting the Housekeeping Team in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel. Typical shifts will range between the hours of 7am - 3pm.
What you’ll be doing?
- Clean all public areas within the hotel to a high standard.
- Maintain and service guest bedrooms according to occupancy and arrivals, ensuring any special requests are fulfilled.
- Ensure all rooms meet company standards, with relevant documentation completed for room checks.
- Report any maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areas to the Duty Manager.
- Identify and report any concerns regarding guest misuse of hotel facilities.
- Prioritise guest comfort and safety at all times.
- Follow instructions from the Duty Manager and Head of Housekeeping.
- Keep all working and public areas clean, tidy, and free from hazards.
What we’re looking for?
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is required.
- A hard-working, reliable, and punctual team player.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility as this role will require weekend working.
