What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead, motivate, and inspire the banqueting kitchen team, ensuring smooth operations.
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation, maintaining the highest quality and standards.
- Manage food costs, stock control, ordering, and inventory to ensure efficient resource management.
- Collaborate closely with the Weddings & Events team to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Train, mentor, and develop junior chefs, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Support restaurant and private dining food service when required.
- Continuously improve banqueting processes to optimise efficiency and quality.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience at Head Chef or Sous Chef level in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Background in conference and banqueting service is highly advantageous.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
