We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join the culinary team at Brig o' Doon House Hotel. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced chef to support the delivery of exceptional dining experiences at one of Scotland's most exquisite destinations, home to the Tales restaurant and renowned for its stunning weddings, events, and outstanding guest service.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Support the Head Chef in the day‑to‑day running of the kitchen and food preparation.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team in the Head Chef's absence.
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and maintaining kitchen efficiency.
  • Contribute to the creation of innovative seasonal menus using fresh, local ingredients.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef in a quality venue.
  • Passion for creating high‑quality dishes using fresh ingredients.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a busy kitchen team.
  • Experience with Procure Wizard is beneficial but not essential.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
