This is a senior commercial role combining new business, brief response, and deal execution. You’ll be responsible for positioning the business as a trusted premium partner and driving revenue through social-first branded content, sponsorships, multimedia partnerships, and display solutions.
The opportunity involves taking ownership of an agency patch and a portfolio of direct clients—creating a consistent flow of inbound and proactive opportunities, converting briefs into compelling solutions, and closing high-value partnerships.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building and nurturing relationships across media agencies and direct advertisers, generating a steady pipeline of briefs and opportunities.
- Owning a proactive growth strategy to deliver year-on-year revenue uplift, including agency roadshows, lunch & learns, and presence at key industry events.
- Maintaining a strong weekly cadence of face-to-face meetings and new business calls with agency planners/buyers and senior brand decision makers.
- Tailoring existing sales collateral for specific prospects using audience data, insights, and market context to increase relevance and conversion.
- Managing your pipeline end-to-end—forecasting accurately, hitting individual targets, and contributing to wider team goals.
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to develop best-in-class, insight-led proposals that answer client briefs and deliver measurable value.
- Feeding back advertiser and market insights to identify new revenue opportunities and support product development across the wider business.
What they’re looking for:
- Proven success selling media solutions to agencies and/or brands, with an established network to leverage.
- Experience in a publisher/media owner environment is essential, with a track record of growing revenue in a competitive marketplace.
- Strong ability to write, present, and land persuasive proposals that win business.
- Confident understanding of social platforms and the digital advertising ecosystem.
- Comfortable using data and insights to craft strategies that elevate creative ideas and solve client objectives.
- Demonstrable capability in prospecting, networking, negotiation, and closing.
- Commercial curiosity, entrepreneurial mindset, and a collaborative approach.
- Gravitas to influence and present to stakeholders at all levels—internally and externally.
- Comfortable handling and responding to challenging questions in pitch and negotiation environments.
- Bonus: experience in a media agency setting and/or selling social-first content partnerships.

The client is genuinely flexible: 4-day weeks and flexible hours are on the table, and the role can be performed from anywhere in the UK. There are offices in London and Manchester, plus a fully remote setup. Their client base is global, so strong relationships across regions are welcomed.
Compensation:
