We are looking for a Head of Editorial for a well funded DTC tech focused brand. They have been described as one of the fastest growing tech companies and have an award winning app and ecommerce platform. You will be responsible for launching their first content strategy and leading the editorial and copy teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver effective editorial strategies that support the company's marketing, content, and business goals.
- Oversee the launch and ongoing development of the company editorial content blog, aligning closely with the SEO and Social team to drive content performance.
- Lead and mentor a strong copywriting and editorial team, fostering a culture of creativity, excellence, and innovation.
- Create and implement processes for auditing copy and establishing best practices for different content types.
- Establish a connection to AI as a supportive tool that helps maximise the team's ideation and output.
- Brief writers, topic experts and influencers on a variety of content pieces to help deliver engaging Social and Editorial content.
- Craft compelling marketing ad copy, email content, blog articles, social media posts, and marketing scripts that align with brand and performance objectives.
- Analyse and optimise copy performance across all channels, leveraging data insights to improve results.
You must come from a commercial background with a strong focus of working with in-house creative teams to develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns. This role is based 3-4 days per week in their central London office.
