The Communications and Campaigns team helps colleagues, supporters and stakeholders stay informed, engaged and connected to Centrepoint’s strategic priorities. As Centrepoint embarks on a significant period of organisational change and transformation, we’re seeking an experienced communications professional to help colleagues understand, engage with and adopt change across the organisation.

The Role

Working closely with senior leaders and programme teams, you’ll lead the communications approach across key transformation programmes, creating clear, engaging and effective communications that build understanding, confidence and engagement. You’ll combine strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery, helping colleagues navigate change while ensuring communication activities support successful programme outcomes. Centrepoint operates a hybrid working model, requiring colleagues to work from the office for at least 50% of their working time.

About You

  • Significant experience delivering change communications within complex organisations
  • Experience supporting transformation, organisational change or culture change programmes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including advising senior leaders
  • The ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging communications
  • Experience developing communication strategies, plans and engagement activities
  • Knowledge of internal communication platforms such as SharePoint and Viva Engage
  • Understanding of change management methodologies such as ADKAR or Kotter
  • A proactive, collaborative and highly organised approach

Desirable

  • Experience within the charity, non-profit or social impact sector
  • Experience using data and insight to evaluate communications effectiveness
  • Experience supporting communications during risk or crisis situations

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading communications across Centrepoint’s change and transformation programmes
  • Developing communication strategies, plans and key messaging frameworks
  • Advising senior leaders and programme sponsors on communication and engagement approaches
  • Creating high‑quality content including leadership messaging, presentations, FAQs, briefings and intranet content
  • Designing two‑way communication activities that encourage feedback and engagement
  • Ensuring communications align with change management principles and support successful adoption
  • Managing communication risks and implementing mitigation plans
  • Overseeing internal channels including intranet, newsletters and briefings
  • Using feedback and engagement data to continuously improve communication effectiveness
