Location: City Hall, College Green City Centre, Bristol BS1 5TR.

Salary: BG10 - £35,412 - £39,152. Contractual hours: 37 per week. Full time.

Department: Communications, PR and Media. Full Time, Fixed Term for 12 months to cover maternity leave (starting August 2026).

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and deliver the weekly communications pulse of news and updates to the workforce, working with officers to understand their aims and objectives.
  • Create internal communications and employee engagement materials for a wide range of projects.
  • Support the work of our employee engagement and communication consultants on larger pieces of work to help deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with a team of five and be available to work in City Hall as and when required.
  • Juggle multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment.
