Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Warehouse Operative to join our team. This role involves general warehouse duties with a strong focus on cleaning, refurbishing, and preparing products for re-dispatch. The successful candidate will be comfortable using power tools and will take pride in maintaining high-quality standards throughout the product refurbishment process.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, unpack, and inspect returned products.
Use power tools (e.g., drills, sanders, screwdrivers) to dismantle, repair, or refurbish products as required.
Clean products thoroughly to meet resale or redistribution standards.
Reassemble and repackage refurbished items ready for dispatch.
Ensure all items meet quality control standards before being sent out.
General warehouse tasks including picking, packing, stock control, and loading/unloading deliveries.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a warehouse or refurbishment role preferred.
Confident using a range of power tools safely and effectively.
Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
Able to work independently or as part of a team.
Basic understanding of health and safety practices.
Reliable and punctual.
Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8am to 5pm
Friday: 7am to 4pm
Pay: £12.21 per hour
