We are seeking a dedicated Temporary Machine Operative to join our manufacturing team. This role involves supporting fabrication and assembly processes within a dynamic workshop environment. Responsibilities
- Operate various manufacturing machinery
- Handle materials efficiently within the warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage and movement of components
- Support assembly processes by preparing parts and tooling as required
- Conduct basic measurements and calculations using fundamental maths to ensure precision in fabrication tasks
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards
- Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and routine maintenance to minimise downtime
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality expectations
Qualifications
- Experience or familiarity with fabrication processes
- Mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools and tooling equipment
- Warehouse experience or materials handling skills are beneficial
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
