About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse environment and must hold a valid counterbalance forklift (FLT) licence. This role involves general warehouse duties, operating forklifts, and ensuring the safe and efficient handling of stock.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently to move goods within the warehouse.
- Receive, unload, and check incoming deliveries against purchase orders.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Maintain accurate stock records and assist with inventory counts.
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized.
- Follow all health & safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Assist with ad-hoc warehouse duties as required.
Person Specification / Required Skills
- Must hold a valid counterbalance forklift (FLT) licence.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Good physical fitness and ability to handle heavy loads.
