Job Duties
- Plan, coordinate and manage the procurement of stock.
- Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring required stock is available for outbound shipments
- Accurate and efficient entry of inbound stock into WMS
- Ensuring accurate and efficient checking of inbound deliveries, ensuring that any discrepancies are immediately reported to the supplier.
- Ensuring all stock is correctly located, and stock rotation is maintained.
- Ensure inventory records are accurate and up to date.
- Stock analysis when required.
- Manages day-to-day client communications.
- Provide required information and documents to clients.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse management or stock control roles within logistics, or supply chain environments.
- Must be able to build effective working relationships with work customers, colleagues/others
- Strong and effective in the areas of verbal and interpersonal communications, and time management
- Embraces excellence in customer service
- Proven work experience as a Stock Controller
- Excellent organisation skills
Working knowledge of inventory management systems
