Hours: Monday to Friday |7am to 7pm or 10am to 7pm
The Role
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Counterbalance FLT Operative to join our client on a temporary seasonal basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials around the warehouse and yard.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading vehicles.
- Moving and storing stock and materials around the warehouse/yard.
- Supporting goods-in and goods-out operations.
- Loading pallets and preparing goods for dispatch.
- Following all site health & safety procedures.
- Carrying out basic checks on the FLT and reporting any issues.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- Supporting the wider warehouse team during the busy seasonal period.
Requirements
- MUST hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence/certificate.
- Previous Counterbalance FLT experience.
- Previous warehouse, yard or logistics experience preferred.
- Must be reliable, punctual and committed to the full temporary assignment.
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a busy warehouse/yard environment.
