Job Summary
We are seeking a technically skilled individual to join our Service department in the role of Technical Support & Service Coordinator. The selected candidate will support the UK Service Manager and act as the lead for packaging line start-ups and post-sales coordination. The role will be primarily based at our UK office, with travel required to customer sites for technical meetings and functional checks on installed machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support during the installation and commissioning phases of packaging machines and lines at customer sites.
- Coordinate between the Aftersales and Service teams to plan and execute post-sales service orders.
- Review and communicate all necessary technical information to field technicians, ensuring clarity and completeness prior to interventions.
- Collaborate with the Service Manager to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
- Participate in technical meetings with customers to define solutions and corrective actions during the post-installation phase.
- Serve as a direct interface with technical departments for analysis and resolution of complex technical issues.
- Monitor post-commissioning activities to ensure customer satisfaction and system performance.
Candidate Requirements
- Technical background (mechanical, electrical, or similar), with experience or basic knowledge in the field of automatic packaging machinery.
- Familiarity with procedures related to installation, testing, and service activities within industrial machinery environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Solid organizational and communication skills, with a collaborative attitude across departments.
- Willingness to travel within the UK/Ireland and occasionally internationally.
- Proficiency in both English and Italian languages.
