Duties

  • Manage client accounts using various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance on financial processes and best practices
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain compliance with relevant financial legislation and industry standards
  • Support business development activities by building strong client relationships and identifying new opportunities
  • Implement improvements to optimise financial management systems and procedures

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within an accountancy practice environment
  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices
  • Experience in managing accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger functions
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members effectively
  • Familiarity with financial services regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
  • Prior experience working with diverse clients across various sectors is desirable
