Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fabric Cutting Operative to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for precise trimming and finishing tasks on various products, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the production process. Responsibilities

  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to trim, finish, and refine products according to specifications.
  • Use mechanical knowledge to adjust and maintain trimming equipment as needed.

  • Assist in setting up workstations and preparing materials for trimming tasks.
  • Conduct heavy lifting of materials or finished products as required, following proper manual handling procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements

  • Proven experience using hand tools and power tools.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical fitness suitable for standing for extended periods and performing manual handling tasks.
  • A proactive attitude towards safety procedures and continuous improvement in work practices.
