We are seeking a technically skilled individual to join our Service department in the role of Technical Support Service Coordinator. The selected candidate will support the UK Service Manager and act as the lead for packaging line start-ups and post-sales coordination. The role will be primarily based at our UK office, with travel required to customer sites for technical meetings and functional checks on installed machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support during the installation and commissioning phases of packaging machines and lines at customer sites.
  • Coordinate between the Aftersales and Service teams to plan and execute post-sales service orders.
  • Review and communicate all necessary technical information to field technicians, ensuring clarity and completeness prior to interventions.
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Participate in technical meetings with customers to define solutions and corrective actions during the post-installation phase.
  • Serve as a direct interface with technical departments for analysis and resolution of complex technical issues.
  • Monitor post-commissioning activities to ensure customer satisfaction and system performance.

Candidate Requirements

  • Technical background (mechanical, electrical, or similar), with experience or basic knowledge in the field of automatic machinery.
  • Familiarity with procedures related to installation, testing, and service activities within industrial machinery environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Solid organizational and communication skills, with a collaborative attitude across departments.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK/Ireland and occasionally internationally.
  • Proficiency in both English and Italian languages.
