We are seeking a dedicated FLT/Warehouse Operative to join our team on the late shift. This role involves supporting warehouse operations through efficient materials handling, equipment management, and shipping receiving activities. The successful candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems and mechanical tasks, ensuring smooth and safe warehouse functions during their shift.
Duties
- Operate counterbalance forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Load and unload goods from lorries, containers, and storage areas
- Manage materials handling using appropriate techniques and tools
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation
- Conduct basic equipment repairs and maintenance as required
- Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory movements
- Support stock organisation and storage optimisation within the warehouse
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure working environment
