Job Summary To support the Pharmacist in the accurate and timely dispensing of all prescriptions in accordance with the GPhC (General Pharmaceutical Council) Standards. Job Duties: Complete accurate labelling of all prescriptions, maintaining accurate patient records. Daily entry of all dispensed prescriptions into prescription book. Accurate dispensing in accordance with MEP (Medicines, Ethics and Practice guide). Effective prescription management. Management of dispensary stationary and general dispensary standards. Compliance with stock management. Understanding and delivery of Pharmacy SOPs. Regular performance audit. Support rest of team when required. Fridge temperature management. Preparation of wholesale orders. Requirements: Dispensing assistant course or equivalent. Must demonstrate attention to detail and accurately perform repetitive tasks. Must be able to work well under pressure and be able to prioritise workload. Must be able to work well in a team. Must demonstrate a clear patient focus.
