The Customer Services Advisor is responsible for ensuring excellent customer service and support to the sales team in line with organisational objectives. The role involves a variety of responsibilities across customer service, order processing, and maintenance of the database and customer records. The Customer Service Advisor should be able to enhance relationships and build customer loyalty by responding to internal and external needs in a timely and courteous manner. This position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities at once and adapt easily in a fast-changing environment.
Responsibilities Summary
- Process customer orders and/or enquiries in a timely manner by phone or email
- Act as a liaison between sales representatives and customers, providing order status updates and relevant information
- Responsible for all administrative tasks related to orders, such as:
- Issuing and distributing purchase orders to suppliers and ensuring proper follow-up
- Sending order confirmations, invoices and packing slips for shipping to customers
- Maintaining the customer database
