Are you compassionate, reliable and genuinely passionate about supporting others? We are looking for dedicated Care Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred support to an individual in their own home.
This is a rewarding one-to-one support role, where you will work closely with the same individual, building a trusting and supportive relationship while helping them maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.
You will play an important role in providing practical support, companionship and reassurance, while also offering peace of mind to their family.
About the Role
The role is based in Leighton Buzzard and involves supporting the individual in their own home.
Shifts are available 7 days a week, including Monday to Friday and alternate weekends:
- 07:00 β 14:00
- 14:00 β 19:00
As a Care Worker, you will provide support tailored to the individual's needs, helping them feel safe, comfortable and supported throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, observe and accurately record the individual's health and wellbeing, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Provide personal care with dignity, respect and sensitivity.
- Support with everyday activities while encouraging independence wherever possible.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, building a positive and trusting relationship.
- Support and encourage meaningful activities, social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Assist with shopping, appointments and leisure activities and outings.
- Administer or assist with medication, creams and prescribed treatments in accordance with Medication Administration Records (MAR).
- Help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable home environment.
- Communicate effectively with family members and the wider care team.
- Follow care plans, policies and procedures to ensure consistently high standards of care.

Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in care, assisted living or home care is preferred.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Business insurance for your vehicle is required.
- Right to work in the UK β sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check and provide suitable references.
