Do you have experience working as a wine cellar worker? We are seeking a Wine Cellar Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various tasks and duties related to winery cellar operations. You will work closely with a team to ensure the smooth operation of wine production and storage processes. The ideal candidate has prior experience in wine cellar operations or production line principles and is familiar with safety protocols and quality control standards.
Job Location: Manteca, California
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $19.00/hour (DOE)
Job Type: Long Term Temporary
Schedule: Monday – Saturday 12:00 am – 10:30 am (times may vary slightly)
Valid CA Driver's License
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED-equivalent preferred
- 1+ year experience and/or familiarity with production line principles and/or winery cellar operations is desirable.
On the job responsibilities will include:
- Constructs basic pump and hose transfer lines for movement of liquid products to and from tanks and tanker trucks, adhering to procedures outlined in General Standard Operational Procedures and Standard Work Documents (SWD)s
- Ensures critical steps are followed for wine receiving and shipment of domestic and international loads that maintain quality and customer demands.
- Executes cleaning and sanitation steps to wine tanks, transfer lines and winery equipment.
- Performs critical winemaking steps during harvest to rack clean juice to fermenters and expedite yeast inoculations and nutrient additions.
- Diligently follows safety, GMP, and ISO procedures and policies to safeguard personal and team member's safety, wine quality and company property.

Working Conditions:
- General manufacturing plant/production floor environment
- Indoor and outdoor environment with exposure to the elements/temperature variations
- Exposure to weather-related temperature and humidity extremes
- Exposure to varying levels of dust, chemicals, fumes, gases, and noisy equipment
- May be required to lift and carry cases of wine (35 lbs.)
- Must work around forklift operation.
