About The Role
We’re on an exciting growth journey within our Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) area of the business.
As we continue to evolve, we're looking for a commercially minded performance analyst to transform data into meaningful insight that drives decision-making across the business.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll take ownership of trading and operational performance reporting across the SMR business.
You'll be responsible for developing, improving and automating reporting processes, ensuring stakeholders have access to accurate, insightful and actionable performance information.
Working closely with Finance, Operations, Commercial, Product Development, Insight & Analytics, and Digital teams, you'll play a key role in supporting RAC's ambitious SMR growth strategy.

This is a hybrid role, working 2 days a week from our Bescot office and 3 days a week from home offering flexibility while being part of a dynamic and supportive team.

- What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain a suite of operational and trading performance reports using multiple data sources.
- Create impactful dashboards and visualisations that provide clear visibility of key business performance metrics.
- Analyse trends and performance drivers, translating data into meaningful business insight.
- Deliver compelling narratives that explain movements in KPIs and support decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to automate and enhance reporting processes, improving efficiency and consistency.
- Ensure reporting accuracy, governance and data integrity across all outputs.
- Collaborate with Data Management, Insight & Analytics and Digital teams to build scalable reporting solutions.
- Support stakeholders with deep-dive analysis, root cause investigations and performance reviews.
- Continuously improve reporting capability by introducing new data sources, functionality and analytical approaches.
- What you’ll need
- Strong experience developing reports and dashboards using
Power BI and other data visualisation tools.
- Experience using SQL.
- Experience analysing and interpreting operational or commercial performance KPIs.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, concise and compelling business stories.
- Proven experience working with senior stakeholders and influencing business decisions through insight.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience using a reporting suite such as
- Sigma or
Tableau .
- Experience improving or automating reporting processes and frameworks.
