RAC Technician & Mobile Mechanic

Roadside Patrol Technician
- Diagnose and repair vehicles at the roadside
- Work independently in a fast‑paced, reactive environment
- Tackle a variety of issues from batteries and tyres to complex fault‑finding
- Operate from a fully equipped RAC van, ending the day at home
Mobile Vehicle Technician (SMR)
- Pre‑booked appointments at members’ homes or workplaces
- Follow structured schedules with adequate time for high‑quality repair and servicing
- Focus on in‑depth servicing, diagnostics and routine repairs without emergency call‑outs
Qualifications
- A Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- A full UK driving licence
- A customer‑focused approach and confidence working independently
