About The Role

Location: Bescot Head Office, Walsall (potential hybrid after successful probation)

Hours: Full-Time, 35 hours per week. Working hours aligned to operational hours of the relevant function, including weekend and bank holidays Monday to Sunday, between 6am and 10pm

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and detail‑oriented individual to join our RAC team. As a Deployment & Communications Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and delivering exceptional customer service for our prestigious Mercedes-Benz Cars UK account.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver excellence: Provide professional solutions that meet customer needs and business goals.
  • Respond quickly: Manage response times and keep customers updated until their issue is resolved.
  • Stay proactive: Follow up with customers after breakdowns and share timely progress updates.
  • Collaborate: Build strong relationships with colleagues in Roadside Services to deliver outstanding service.
  • Think smart: Choose cost‑effective solutions using RAC’s repair network and third‑party providers.
  • Coordinate resources: Liaise with internal and external contacts to ensure efficient deployment.
  • Manage systems: Use iCAD Dispatch to make strategic deployment decisions and monitor performance.
  • Support compliance: Apply knowledge of contractor arrangements, minimise manual claims, and meet KPIs.
  • Drive success: Contribute to team goals that boost profitability, growth, and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Need

  • Experience with RAC deployment methods, iCAD systems, and related tools.
  • Ability to meet performance KPIs and compliance requirements.
  • A proactive mindset with flexibility to adapt to change.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of National Deployment Centre (NDC) processes.
  • Familiarity with breakdown products, data protection, health & safety, and FCA compliance.
