RAC has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join our Roadside Operations Finance team, supporting performance across a critical area of the business. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced environment, where you’ll deliver high‑quality reporting and insight to support operational and commercial decision‑making. Working closely with Finance Business Partners and the wider Operations team, you’ll play a key role in driving cost control, improving data quality, and enhancing reporting processes. What You’ll Do

  • Process Improvement & Delivery
    • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and efficiency
    • Support automation and simplification of existing reporting
    • Enhance data quality and consistency across outputs
  • Financial Reporting & Control
    • Prepare and deliver accurate reporting across Roadside costs and KPIs
    • Support month‑end close activities, including reconciliations and controls
    • Ensure financial data accuracy and compliance with governance standards
  • Planning, Analysis & Insight
    • Analyse cost performance and key operational drivers
    • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
    • Produce clear, data‑driven insights to support decision‑making
  • Business Partnering & Collaboration
    • Support Finance Business Partners with analysis and reporting
    • Build effective working relationships with operational stakeholders
    • Present financial information in a clear and concise manner

What You’ll Bring

  • Skills, Knowledge & Experience
    • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling and data analysis
    • Experience working with large datasets and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Power Query, Alteryx)
    • Strong understanding of financial reporting, controls, and processes
    • Experience in a fast‑paced finance environment
    • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload effectively

Location | Working Pattern | Salary

This role follows a hybrid model, with required office attendance in our Bescot, Walsall office 2 days per week. Salary aligned with market and experience.
